Rolling Luggage Set
What kind of luggage do you have?

I bought a five piece set of luggage at Macys last Thanksgiving..and after two trips to Vegas and one trip to Ontario they are worthless. Completely ripped up and a mess.
What is a good piece of luggage? Something that I can pack 7 days worth of clothing, etc. in and that will last for at least three years, and also that will endure going all over the world.

I see that Diane Von Furstenburg luggage gets good ratings, but they are expensive! The more I look the more it seems like I am just going to have to bite the bullet and pay the money.
What about the rolling duffel bag style? Ogio seems to make good ones.

Your opinions on luggage are greatly appreciated!

Unless you spend a bundle, you’re going to find that luggage sets tend to be of lower quality.

In order to satisfy all your criteria you’re going to spend a lot of money. However, the investment will be worth it; it’s either get something good now, or keep buying multiple cheaper suitcases. The small premium paid for quality usually pays for itself within a year or two at most.

Here’s a good guide on what to look for:
