The most practical way to carry a passport, tickets, etc?

I'm leaving for Europe in a week. What is the most practical thing to use to carry a passport and tickets and what not? Should I get one of those bags neck strap? Should I trust my trouser pockets? (Incidentally, I am a man as a handbag is an option.) I do not want to be paranoid about losing my vital roles, but … Thank you.

get the bag neck is more comfortable and less girly with a belt. Do not use your pocket, it is not safe and can be stolen easily. Europe, if fun is a great place.
