Alaska fishing information?

Come on up to Anchorage in June and moving by car to get to some fishing areas. I know there are some rules in certain areas where it can be used only fly fishing gear, fishing rod or a regular … Does anyone know where I can get this information in advance? Only trying to plan what to bring and a map of our routes … I have looked for any kind of map or link, but can not seem to find anything other than a reference to the Department Fishing … Thanks in advance!

I do not know where Artie lives, but in my part of Alaska (south central) are not going to be cold and covered with a great amount of snow at the time June rolls around. In our area of the state, almost anywhere you can access with a car will be published if relevant regulations in place. So soon as you get to Anchorage, stopping in ANY sporting goods store as Sportsman's Warehouse (Anchorage, Wasilla, and Fairbanks) and obtain a current copy of the regulation fishing. Even the sports department at Wal-Mart has' em. All data they want and need (and more) will be posted there for this area. Bring appropriate equipment for types of fishing you want to do. (My recommendation would be something for everyone if not just a purist fly fishing.) Spinning and fly team will only on everything you want to capture. As for salt, you will want to rent a boat there and in that case, almost all offshore sailors against the need to provide more. Moreover, when you come to a future likely to come out on the road, chances are you will not be alone. When salmon are running (from May), will have a lot of people looking for the best tracks. Ask anyone for advice and you are bound to get it. Along the roads to are also the best fishing lodges, resorts, restaurants and fuel stops. Everyone wants your business, so do not hesitate to ask for their best advice. As a former guard hunting in this state, I can assure you that you will have no problem finding out what is or is not legal to do when Fishing In Alaska. The regulations are set free available almost everywhere including grocery stores. All you have to do is get here, get a copy, "read", and go fishing. I'll be watching for you. Have a safe journey, and we'll see when you get here.
