Is fish a salmon shark kayak?

Here is more information about this sport; http://www.vagabondish.com/big-fish-little-boat-extreme-kayak-shark-fishing/ I live in Alaska, but they know little about this type of fishing, all information on the major. How fast I can troll for them, what size hooks in the bait of salmon should I use? etc etc? I just have to try this! Sorry for the typo, I mean any information would be great.

Although I am not fishing for salmon sharks, I catch my share of em halibut fishing. In recent weeks the charter flights landed three of them. The largest of these was about 200 pounds. We took a number of thresher shark and 400 pounds with a range .. bellies Salmon is one of my favorite baits to use for the big black halibut, unfortunately the sharks seem too fancy. Usually these types bait my hook while jigging near the bottom at depths of 75 feet of 350ft. Remains only bait as close to the bottom as possible. Herring should be very easy to get your hands on for bait too. The downrigger in my boat makes it easy. Feel free send me an email for more information if I can help. 40yr exp.
