Alaskan cruise in July?

I'm going on July 17 Alaska cruise on the Celebrity Millennium. Does anyone have any advice or guidance on which pack or what excursions to do while we're there? Thanks! And it is the adolescent program worthwhile (I'm 14)? Also, is there someone else going on the cruise;) Thanks a lot !!!!!!!! Jenn-

I've been to Alaska twice, and barely crossed the Millennium. What you need to pack no is very different from any other cruise or travel. The weather in Alaska on earth can be very pleasant, perhaps in the 70s, 80s or even during the day. It will probably be of rainfall in a couple of stops of his port as Juneau and Ketchkan. Not a downpour, but little rainfall. It will be very nice on the ship while it is inside the area, but windy and cold on deck. But there are plenty of areas in the Millennium where you can see very well without being outdoors. When you get near the icebergs and glaciers to cool. And I mean like the hat, coat and gloves in the cold. But the dress is the layer of clothing to be warm enough when it's cold but not too hot when found in warmer areas. Instead of a ski jacket, take a lighter one that you can wear comfortably over a sweater or hoodie. Take a long-sleeved shirts and pants. Take a hat and gloves, even. The mellineum has a pool terrace with a pool and hot tubs are sheltered from the breeze while the ship is moving. So you can use the pool and hot tub. The boat also has a solarium, an indoor glass area the hot tub, but for adults only PM. The dress is casual on board all day until 6:00. So: – bathing suits, in the sun glasses and protective solar, lotions, warming-a suit or sweats to relax on the boat – a hooded sweatshirt and a jacket that can carry – a hat and gloves when you approach glaciers and ice fields – a rain poncho, as it is likely that rainfall in Ketchakan and / or Juneau,-your music player, good walking shoes, "the camera- and binoculars, others, personal hygiene items. Your cabin will have towels and soap provided, including pool towels. It will also have a shampoo for hair generic so that it is not necessary to bring that unless a specific brand. They do not provide toothpaste, mouthwash or lotions. Do provide a hairdryer. After 6:00 PM asked to use "sports or resort casual" attire. This is clothing that a person can expect to use in a business office (as an employee banking), collared shirt, pants, jeans, capris, skirts, blouses, etc. Do not over load, wear clothes that can mix and match tops and bottoms and plan to wear each piece twice. Your cruise will have a formal night when you can wear your best stuff and get pictures taken, and do his best Captain of the ship. Nights request formal attire is not required. There was denied entrance to main dining room, if you decide not to wear, as long as at least sports casual. When Alaska cruises you will see plenty of glaciers and maybe even eagles and seals of the ship. So there you go on excursions to view. I recommend a visit to the White Pass if offered and Totem Pole Park Tour in Ketchkan. The fun of the teen program will depend largely on how many teens are on your cruise. In some cruise if there is not enough teens who do not have the programs. On the other hand, if there are a lot of teens in your cruise will probably have a great time with them.
